Professor Looi received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, UK. His research interests include learning science, computer-supported cooperative learning, mobile learning, artificial intelligence education, and computational thinking. Professor Looi has published more than 120 international journal articles, more than 50 books or chapters, and more than 160 international conference papers, and has been listed among the top 1% of the world's most cited top scientists by Stanford University. Professor Looi has a wide international influence on educational research and practice, and has been elected a Fellow of the International Association for the Science of Learning and the Asia Pacific Association for Computer Education.
