Forum Proposal

The GCCCE Forum aims to address an academic or practical topic related to the application of computer education by organizing discussions among experts, scholars, and educators from various regions. The forum will raise discussion topics and directions, allow for multi-faceted discussions, and explore different perspectives. At the end, attendees are encouraged to express their views and engage in intellectual exchange.

The forum language must be either entirely in Chinese or entirely in English.

Each forum is limited to one or one and a half hours. Proposers can choose one of the following organizational formats:

Duration

Forum Composition

Time Allocation

One hour

One chairperson, three to four panelists, and (optionally) one discussant

Total speaking time for forum members must not exceed 40 minutes, with no less than 20 minutes for audience interaction

One and a half hours

One chairperson, three to five panelists, and (optionally) one or two discussants; the total number of panelists and discussants must not exceed six

Total speaking time for forum members must not exceed 60 minutes, with no less than 30 minutes for audience interaction

The forum chairperson may also serve as a panelist or discussant, though this is not mandatory. Additionally, the panelists and discussants (excluding the chairperson) must include scholars or educators from at least two different countries or regions.

The forum topic should be specific and not overly broad without a clear focus (e.g., "The Current State and Future of [a particular research field]" is too broad and therefore not an ideal topic). The proposal must clearly explain the significance of the topic in relation to research or practical applications in computer education.

All forum proposals will be reviewed by the GCCCE 2025 Agenda Coordination Chair and Co-Chair.

All forum members must be registered participants of GCCCE 2025 to participate in the forum.
